LED (light emitting diodes) are small light bulbs commonly found in electronic equipment.
However, recently there has been an explosion of new technology and designs that make LED bulbs a practical alternative to the regular
incandescent bulbs we have throughout our homes.
LED lighting is economical using very little power, the bulbs burn quite cool and the light they produce is very white, similar to halogen bulbs but not near as bright.
Today, manufacturers implement multiple bulbs, sometimes dozens, into a housing shaped similar to a regular light bulb.
